Audi RS6 Avant
De RS6 Avant Performance combineert een 4,0 liter V8 biturbo met 48V mild hybrid technologie voor 630 pk en 850 Nm, dankzij grotere turbo's en een hogere ladedruk van 2,6 bar ten opzichte van de gewone RS6. De achttraps automaat stuurt dat via quattro naar alle vier de wielen, met een mechanisch middendifferentieel dat standaard 40 procent naar voor en 60 procent naar achter stuurt, en tot 85 procent naar de achteras kan sturen wanneer nodig. Een sportdifferentieel achteraan en achterwielbesturing zorgen voor wendbaarheid die je niet verwacht van een auto van dit formaat.
Leuk detail: ondanks het brute vermogen haalt de RS6 Avant in rustig rijgedrag makkelijk een lage verbruikswaarde, mede dankzij cilinderdeactivering die bij constante snelheid de helft van de cilinders uitschakelt zonder dat je het merkt.
