At the beginning of October, Knokke-Heist was entirely devoted to the Zoute Grand Prix Car Week. Once again, it became a week full of encounters, extraordinary cars, and moments to remember. For Bavaria Motors, this was a special edition: for the first time, we exhibited in the ZOUTE GALLERY by EY with two exceptional brands.
For the fourth consecutive year, we were present in Knokke with RUF. What RUF Automobile GmbH achieves today goes far beyond what one would expect from a top tuner; they have grown into a full-fledged manufacturer. For decades, the company has been rebuilding Porsches based on donor cars, sometimes even with its own chassis number. A few years ago, Alois Ruf fulfilled his lifelong dream of creating a completely self-designed car.
As a tribute to the legendary Yellow Bird from the late 1980s, the CTR Anniversary and SCR were born. These cars have a soul and character that reflect Porsche’s heritage, yet entirely through RUF’s own vision.
This year’s Zoute Grand Prix featured the RUF SCR in Guards Red. A car that celebrates pure driving, powered by a naturally aspirated 4.0-litre flat-six producing 510 hp. Thanks to its carbon monocoque, low weight of 1,250 kilograms, and manual gearbox, the SCR feels raw and alive. Built to be driven and enjoyed.
We also welcomed Touring Superleggera from Milan for the first time. Founded in 1926, this atelier is a true symbol of elegance and craftsmanship. Their Veloce 12 Barchetta in Satin Bronze Grey radiates refinement down to the smallest detail. Every panel is hand-shaped, every line deliberately chosen. The seats are trimmed in exclusive leather developed in collaboration with Loro Piana. Under the bonnet lies a naturally aspirated V12 paired with a manual gearbox — a combination rarer than ever today. The car sounds phenomenal and looks like a work of art.
Two brands, each with its own heritage, yet sharing the same conviction: to bring pure, analogue driving back to the forefront, but at the highest level. Both embrace naturally aspirated engines, manual transmissions, and low weight. Where RUF stands for technical purity, Touring Superleggera blends emotion and form into something timeless. Displayed together in our stand, visitors instantly understood why this collaboration felt so special. Both brands inspire admiration and remind us what driving is truly about.
The Zoute Grand Prix remains a place where true car enthusiasts come together. For Bavaria Motors, this edition will not soon be forgotten — a week full of tradition and emotion, where we shared our passion with the many clients and visitors whom we warmly thank for stopping by our stand.
