Last month, we took our RUF SCR to southern Germany for the second edition of the Concours of Elegance at Tegernsee. A charming event nestled between the mountains and the lake, where enthusiasts, collectors and brands gather to celebrate a shared automotive spirit.
We kicked off the weekend in style on Friday morning with a warm welcome and breakfast at the prestigious Drivers & Business Club Munich, by invitation of CEO Jasper Walther. From Munich, we headed towards Tegernsee, where the atmosphere immediately felt right: understated exclusivity, genuine people, and a line-up that made a lasting impression.
As always, RUF Automobile made a strong and characterful appearance. The striking Mint Green SCR was joined by the iconic Signal Orange Rodeo — two exceptional RUF creations. It was a pleasure to share this edition with the team from Pfaffenhausen.
Along the way, we also stopped by HK-Engineering — the reference in restoring Mercedes-Benz 300 SLs. A special place built around craftsmanship, where we were warmly welcomed. A visit that gave the weekend that little something extra.
After the event, we took the SCR towards the Sylvensteinsee for one last drive through the breathtaking landscape of the region. The weekend concluded with a visit to the RUF factory, where our own “RUF 1” was left for its first service. It is always a special moment to return to the place where every detail matters and every car receives its soul.
Many thanks to Marc Pfeifer, Nina Renz and Scott McIntosh for the warm welcome and to the entire RUF family for the genuine connection.
