BMW M4 CSL
In 2022 BMW brought back the legendary suffix standing for Competition Sport Lightweight with the M4 CSL. Limited to just 1.000 units this model immediately became the fastest series production BMW on the Nürburgring Nordschleife. For this version BMW increased the turbo pressure of the 3.0 litre straight six to 405 kW or 550 hp. By stripping one hundred kilograms the car reacts much more directly than the standard models. The kerb weight of 1.700 kilograms was achieved by removing the rear seats and opting for carbon bucket seats and a titanium exhaust.
On the outside the yellow daytime running lights and the ducktail spoiler integrated into the boot lid stand out. Inside the alcantara steering wheel and carbon fibre finish make it clear that this BMW was built for the track.
Nice detail: the rear lights feature innovative laser technology where wafer thin glass fibres create a three dimensional light pattern never previously seen on a production model.
