Lamborghini Huracán STO
The Lamborghini Huracán STO from 2023 is the most track-focused version of the Huracán lineup. STO stands for Super Trofeo Omologata, a reference to Lamborghini’s race cars from the Super Trofeo and GT3 classes. The naturally aspirated 5.2-litre V10 delivers 640 hp and 565 Nm of torque, allowing it to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.0 seconds and reach a top speed of 310 km/h.
What makes the STO special is its extreme focus on weight reduction and aerodynamics. Over 75% of the bodywork is made of carbon fibre, making it 43 kg lighter than the Performante. The Cofango, a combination of the bonnet and fenders, is crafted from a single piece of carbon fibre to reduce weight and improve aerodynamic efficiency. The fixed rear wing and large air intakes provide maximum downforce.
The suspension and steering are directly derived from the Huracán GT3 race car. The rear-wheel drive setup and LDVI system (Lamborghini Dinamica Veicolo Integrata) offer an unfiltered driving experience. The Brembo CCM-R carbon-ceramic braking system, inspired by Formula 1 technology, is four times more heat-resistant than conventional ceramic brakes.
